Ellen was just about to head downstairs when she heard people running upstairs before she head Archie calling out for Abby, stepping out of the room she saw Archie and Clementine looking around the upstairs landing like wild animals.
“Whoa where’s the fire”
She said calmly looking from one to the other Alison on her hip, two heads poked out of other rooms, Anna and Brad had been intrigued to find out what was going on too. Abby in the bathroom however quickly pulled her pajama pants back on and stepped out of the bathroom as she pulled the pajama top over her head.
“What anyone would have thought you too had seen a ghost or something”
She didn’t say anything about the cuts for now she had convinced herself that, that part of the evening had been a dream, that Alison had never fussed at all and she had just fallen asleep the first time her head hit the pillow. The whole scenario after that was just some trippy dream, wasn’t it?

Archie felt his face flush slightly when realized how much of an idiot he must look. “My leg. It’s fixed! Or I mean.. it’s healed over night, look!” He said, pulling up his briefs a little to show the evidence. Clementine hadnt even really noticed the other two people as she then looked over at Abby and went slightly paler. “Your cuts are gone, too.”
Archie looked up at Abby too. “This is unbelievable, what the hell is going on?” He turned back to Ellen now. “One minute I have a huge cut on my leg, now theres just a scar. Abby was attacked by a big gas cloud thing last night and now all of her scratches are gone.”

“God Damn!”
Abby said loudly and Ellen looked at her with a frown, what was so god damn about having all your cuts clear up over night.
“Here I was thinking that gray thing had been a dream”
“Wait what gray thing?”
Ellen asked if it was who she thought it was she had some work ahead of her, and she wasn’t looking forward to it.
“There were noises last night, Marshall dropped by and I was the first to go out into the barn where the sounds where coming from, there was this gray cloud thing just making noise stirring up the horses, I called out it sped toward me sent me flying, I was covered in scratches, and now I’m not”
Abby answered her mind was a whirl how could something like that be real and where was it now Anna stepped out of the room but didn’t walk up to them just spoke from where she was.
“Wait so not only am I stuck here but there is some killer gas cloud on the loose! What is this place”
“OK calm down I know what it is and I can fix this, he wants me not any of you, he was obviously trying to draw me out last night”
All of this was totally confusing Anna, Brad and Abby,
“But how did our wounds get healed?”
Asked Abby still reeling over that little detail
“The best I can guess is it’s the islands way of making this transition a little more comfortable”
Although she answered their questions she was thinking about Andras and what she would have to do.

“Wait...he?” Clementine asked, frowning. It didn’t make sense. “Your saying it’s a big gray gas cloud...but you know that it’s male?”
“Trippy huh?” Archie threw in a comment. “Why would it have been in the barn though, if it wants you,” he looked at Ellen. “and not the house?”
Clementine felt a headache coming on. All of this that was happening, that she had to take in in just a matter of 48 hours and just accept was doing her head in.
“If you have to go after it...I’d like to go with you.” She offered, ignoring the stare that her brother was giving her. “I really want to help.”

“Its not a big gray gas thing, it can take on any form it wants to, his name is Andras, The houses are protected by the islands magic but it couldn’t protect everything, therefore he knew that if I was home disturbing the horses would have lured me out.”
Ellen said calmly, she had gone up against him before and all she could do was contain him, with the islands help of course there is no way a mortal on their own could defeat that thing not even her. Hearing Clementine speak she turned shaking her head.
“I can’t let you do that, you saw what it did to Abby last night, and by the sounds of your lucky to be alive”
She said the last bit looking directly at Abby there was no way she could let any of them risk their lives like that again they shouldn’t have gone out there in the first place. If he was resurfacing however she had a lot more to deal with then just taking care of the horses, Allison and new arrivals.
“You expect to tell us this and for us to let you go without backup I don’t think so, I don’t know about these guys but I’m coming”
Abby said with strong conviction crossing her arms for emphasis,
“Count me in”
Anna said looking over at Brad who backed away
“No way I’m a business man not some weird gas monster fighter.”
“Wimp”
Anna said with a grin but Ellen held up her hands to stop them
“It doesn’t matter none of you are coming”

“We weren’t asking for permission.” Clementine looked at Ellen seriously before sneaking a smile towards Abby and Ellen. She had a feeling she was going to get along just fine with these two, already. “Look, Ellen. Back in Brooklyn I was a great sharpshooter. My uncle owned a firing range. Even as a kid I got so good I could shoot a $1 coin with a BB gun from 50 feet. If your taking anyone then it’s me.”
“Where are you going to get a gun?” Archie interupted. He felt his stomach churn at the thought of his sister going after this... Andras thing but he knew that once Clementine made her mind up, then there was no swaying her.
Clementine shoulders slumped slightly. She hadn’t thought of that. “Wait! Marshall, right? He’s southern, he’d know how to use one. Maybe he has a few.”
“I thought you didn’t believe in stereotypes.” Archie frowned.
“I don’t. But when we heard Andras stirring the horses last night I saw Marshall reach for his back pocket for a brief moment. I bet you anything if anyone has a gun, it’s him!”
This was beginning to sound worse and worse to Archie’s ears. “I’ll come to then. I learnt popping in high school, so I’m fit and in case you forgot, Clementine, I learnt some shooting from our uncle. ”
“Says the boy who’s scared of water and doesn’t even believe in guns.” She grinned cheekily ar her brother before looked at Ellen with a gentle expression. “You aren’t responsible for us anymore. You did your job. You delivered us to this Island. Now I think it’s our turn to help you.”

Ellen couldn’t help smiling at their determination to help her, it seemed that there was no way this lot was going to let her do this alone.
“OK fine you can help but I’m not going right away first we have to get you all settled into the town with a house and we need to find what your purpose here is, aka job wise. All you have to do is drop in at the real estate agents and fill in their form, then presto they will find you a house, right now I have a stable to run and sister to look after”
Ellen said with a smile
“Fine but if you don’t come and get us before facing this thing I’m gonna kick your ass”
Abby said with a grin on her face, Ellen laughed
“Fine it’s a deal ok now will you go get yourself a house!”
“Fine”
Abby said with a smile walking away from everyone gathered in the hall and walking into her room shutting the door. Picking out some jeans and a top and took her PJ’s off and replaced them with normal clothes running a brush through her hair and securing it in its usual two pigtails. Walking back out into the hall she twirled around with a grin.
“Alright I’m ready lets get our houses find jobs and then fry some demonic ass”
She said putting her hands on her hips

“Y’know, ” Archie started. “I’m pretty good at handy work, and building and all that...and I can’t help but notice that this place needs a little bit of a mans-touch. I could just help out here if you’d like?”
Clementine smiled at him. He seemed to have completely forgotten about the fact that he was only in his briefs, or maybe he just didn’t care anymore.
“That goes double for me.” Clementine added to Abby’s comment. Throwing a mock punch in the air. “How are we meant to afford said houses if we don’t have any money though?” Clementine added. She hadn’t thought about that yet.

Anna steped forward when Archie offered to do the work around here and the fact that he suggested it needed a mans touch, she hadn’t met any of these people officially or other wise yet but she wasn’t worried about sticking her 2 cents in.
“Well if that’s your plan you will have to work under me, Ellen has already asked me to so that, so as long as you don’t mind following order from a women we will get along just fine.”
She said with her arms crossed but a smile across her face, moving a hand up to brush her long blond hair away from her face slightly.
“So does that mean you’ve thought about it Anna”
“Yes it does”
“Great, you two can sort it out the more help around here the better, and as for the house situation, they are free, you don’t seriously think you would be brought here and not given anything do you, they will all be fully furnished, its not the flashest furniture in the world but its functional, any other questions?”
“Yer over here”
Anna said raising her hand a bit
“Who is everyone?”
“O sorry, this is Brad, Abby, Archie, Clementine and of course Anna”
Ellen said pointing to each of the people in the hall as she said their names

“What do you think? I make him do that everyday.” Clementine said before her brother could even open his mouth, giving him a playful shove in the arm. “He knows his place.”
“Hey!”Archie rubbed where she had shoved him, and shot her a glare. He looked around at everyone as they where introduced, waving his hand up briefly in a welcoming gesture. “We’ve already met Abby.” he commented.
“Well if my bonehead of a brother would like to hurry up and put some clothes on I’d be glad to get going to that Real Estate department.” Clementine said, enjoying seeing her brothers face flush before he rushed into his room.
This was going to be interesting. She thought to herself. She felt a feeling of excitement as well as nervousness when she thought about finally going down through the town. She had no idea how many people where down there. Or even if she would fit in there. What if she couldn’t even find a job? By the looks of things Archie had already done that. He would have to live with her, of course.
She decided not to think about it. “Heya.” She said, with a friendly smile towards each of them. She was pretty sure she’d get along okay with Abby and Anna, but that Brad guy seemed a little bit of a wet blanket. She was pretty sure she’d but heads with him more than once.

Ellen smiled at least they had agreed to get themselves houses before taking on a death trip, though she still thought it was better if she went alone, maybe it wasn’t such a bad thing to have some help. Someone needed to look after Alison though, Lucy probably would if she asked she didn’t want to expect Jerry to do it again she had already relied on him enough.
“Ok well while you do that I have horses to feed”
Ellen said as she began to walk down the hall all this standing around talking was fun and all but she had jobs to do.
“I’ll help you, I’d like to take a look around and see where I should start in fixing this place up, I’d like to get some done before we take on the demon thingy”
Anna said smiling at the others as she too headed for the top of the stairs turning around.
“Nice to meet you all I will see you when we go kick some demonic ass”
She said with a grin and followed Ellen down the stairs.
“OK well I’m going to find me a house check ya’s later”
Abby said and disappeared down the stairs with the others, Brad looked around at the two people left Archie and Clementine.
“You seriously want to risk your lives for someone you just met, and someone who told you that you were never going to get off this demon infested place?”

“What else have we got to do with our time?” Clementine looked at the handsome man who had barely moved from his spot beside his door. She frowned. “We’re all in this together you know.”
Archie was quiet. He secretly didn’t agree to what he had just signed up for but his sister was involved now and he didn’t want her to get hurt. Despite how cocky she might by about her shooting skills. As Abby said a farewell, his head shot around seeing her walk away. “I’m going to go too actually. You’ll catch up?” He said to his sister but before she could answer he was half way down the stairs.
“If you don’t want to come that’s your choice. I wont stop you.” She spoke to Brad again, turning around with a shrug.

Brad stood in the hallway for a little bit thinking, this wasn’t his fight but she was right they were all in this together now and if no one took care of this thing then they could all be in danger.
“Wait, I’ll help”
He said as he jogged to catch up with Clementine, after all he had nothing better to do so why not lend a hand.
While Ellen gave Alison the tour of the stables, Alison taking note of what needed fixing as they moved around the place Abby headed for the town, she would be glad to have somewhere to call home she always had liked her own space. The driveway was long and sloped down, at least it was an easier walk this time rather then an uphill battle she thought to herself as she watched a rabbit bound across the path and into the bush on the other side.

Archie moved quickly down the path of the drive way, quicker than he normally did, not looking where he put her feet. All that he wanted was to catch up to Abby and get that house thing out of the way so that he could stop his sister from doing anything too stupid. Which was more that 100% likely. It wasn’t as if she had the best judgment in the world. She had proved that without doubt when she let that stupid hick kiss her.
What was she thinking anyway? She probably wasn’t. She’s only 18 it’s not like she knows what she really wants yet. Well...she is smart for the most part. And really who am I to judge. I’m nearly 20 and already she’s smarter, and braver than I am. Hey wait! There’s Abby. He found he had gotten lost in his own thoughts momentarily and it wasn’t really until he spotted the young woman with the back hair tied into characteristic pig-tails and intriguing clothes that he really snapped out of it.
“Hey.” He waved his hand in the air and quickened his pace. “I thought I’d ditch Clementine for a bit. Y’know, to get to know you others a little better.”
Clementine was half way down the stairs when she heard Brad calling out to her and chuckled to herself. It had been kind of predictable that he’d cave and wind up joining him. She had been right. Really, what choice did he have?
Glad for the new reason to leave the ranch, Clementine was actually looking forwards to trekking through the forests to try and help Ellen get this Andras guy/thing. It was a new challenge, and a bit of excitement that naturally - She just could not pass up. She hadn’t been shooting for a while either so it’d be good to actually better her sharp shooting skills again. She had always hated being in one place for too long. She’d always gotten restless if there was nothing to challenge her mind, even as a kid she always had to be outside having her own little adventures.
She actually smiled to herself at the thought of going along on the dangerous mission but as she reached the lounge room her smile instantly faded as she felt her stomach churn sickeningly. A wave of dread and fear swept over her, penetrating her spine as she struggled to find a place to sit down to steady her shaking legs. She felt her legs fold underneath her and she grabbed one of the first things she could touch to try and steady herself. Suddenly her surroundings began to change and distort around her. The walls melted to the floor and became soil and grass. All of the other furniture and ornaments crashed to the ground and became trees or bushes and shrubs. Vases crashed and the water spilled out into streams, and a window to her right then expanded and turned into what looked like a beach. Was it one of the other sides of the Island?
The feeling of dread was still there, but the dizziness was gone as she stares in shocked wonder at her new surroundings. She was obviously in the forest, but she could smell and see the beach to the right of her, some three yards away.
She spun around slowly in a full circle. There didn’t seem to be any signs of any paths leading anywhere, or any landmarks that she could recognize. It all just looked the same. She stood, rooted to the spot for about a minute before she found the courage to walk towards the forest. But stopped and stared in wonder when she saw something she really didn’t expect to see out here.
But there he was, leaning against one of the large trees with his arms crossed, the back of his right foot against the base of the tree and the other foot keeping his ratty brown boot planted on the soil. She didn’t know why but she shuddered. Something was wrong.
“What’re you doing here, Girl?” the southerner drawled, his eyebrow rose in amusement at Clementine standing in the forest, alone, alone.
“I don’t know.” Clementine looked up at him, a quick flash of panic rose to her eyes before she then remembered what an asshole he’d been the night before and her eyes changed back to annoyance. “And...this isn’t real. So… Go away.” she insisted, she didn’t bother hiding her agitation.
Marshall didn’t respond for a long moment. But after a while, he took his foot, which had been cockily planted against the tree, and slowly eased it to the ground. He did a signature arrogant hair flip to get the long locks out of his eyes and gave Clementine a look. “Not real, huh?”
“… Yeah, so… Get,” Clementine shooed, refusing to believe that Marshall was there, or any of this was real.
“Get?!” Marshall laughed a condescending chuckle. “Get?! I ain’t a dog, Thinner,” he grinned at Clementine.
“Go away!” Clementine exclaimed childishly.
Despite Clementine’s lame efforts to shoo him, Marshall strolled over, standing as close to her as he did the night they where in the barn together. “I don’t think so Darlin’. I’m still a bit bitter ‘bout you hustlin’ me the other night.”
“I did not hustle you!” Clementine pushed him back a few paces, and was glad this time when he stayed there. “You practically threw yourself on me!”
“Why are you here?” He had to ask dryly, but there was still a slight smirk upon his arrogant features as he stared at the face of the young woman whom he was just so intrigued with.
“I told you that I donno.” She frowned miserably. “We where just going to go find Andras and...”
Marshalls eyes suddenly locked with hers. And his blonde face fell. “Don’t go after him, a’right! You gotta stay put at the ranch!”
“Why?” She asked and Mashall took another step back. “Just don’t do it!” His voice was raised. “For Gods sake don’t let ‘im get his hands on Ellen!” He turned his back to her.
“‘Ellen?’ What do you...Marshall? What did he do to you?” Clementine felt her heart thumping hard against her chest. putting a hand on his shoulders she made him turn back to face her. She gaped as she looked at him. He had dark rings around his eyes as if he hadn’t been sleeping. His eyes where bloodshot. One of his cheeks was bruised and his nose had dried blood around the nostrils. There where scratches along his forearms and the sleeve of his shirt on his right shoulder. She compulsively swallowed a few times to try and fight of nausea. There was a bullet hole in his shoulder that was still seeping blood. The area around it seemed to be pussing and she was sure there was already some discoloring.
“Ya wanna use that as a damn visual aid?” He pointed at his shoulder. “Heads are gonna roll. Stay away!” He exclaimed. “I’m telling you so stay away!”
Clementine screamed, squeezing her eyes shut as she pushed him away again before she felt herself jolt and she was laying down on what felt like carpeted floor. Breathing rapidly and feeling her heart racing a mile a minute.

Davin ran down to the house next to the barn he didn't know why it just felt like it was where he was meant to go. he opened the door he felt strange like a knot formed in his stomach he walked inside. the Clementine girl was on the floor when he walked in "are you OK" he looked at the girl she looked pale and like she had seen a ghost "have you seen Ellen i need to see her A.S.A.P" the girl looked real out of it so Davin sat her up on the chair "you look like you could do with some water would you like some?" OCC this post is a merge from "meet and greet" found in the mountans
