Ellen pottered around in the kitchen for a short while after coming downstairs with first aid kit she thought she would get something for them to eat and drink it wouldn’t be anything too flash she hadn’t had time to shop lately. While she was getting a few things prepared on a plate she could see the dark shadows of her washing out on the back line she kept forgetting to bring it in, she must do that in the morning.
Picking up the tray with a bottle of coke, some sandwiches, glasses and the first aid kit on it she headed back to the front door, opening the fly screen a little awkwardly while carrying the tray she walked out and placed it on the table.
“Help yourself I’m sorry I don’t have anything else”
She said picking the first aid kit off the tray and opening she looked at the older man, he was rather handsome but at least 2 years older then herself and besides she didn’t trust men.
“Can I take a look at that please?”
She asked a little unsure she knew what to do that wasn’t the problem.

Clementine had decided not to sit too close to her brother while he was having his little bad mood moment. Sure, he was hurt and that was bugging him but there was really no need for him to be a jerk about it to her, or that Southern guy.
She smiled a thanks as the younger girl returned. She really didn't seem too old, maybe a year younger than herself. But she seemed just as mature, if not more than herself.
"Thats fine. I'm not really hungry anyway. Who else lives here?" She asked, pouring herself a cup of coke and lifting it a little to see if she wanted a glass poured for her too. She made no indication to her brother. It was a big ranch here, and surely needed a few hands around the place to keep it up to speed.
"Sure, go ahead." Archie said, he had his hand on it, gripping the cut as if it might help stop the pain. He lifted his palm and put them at his sides, taking a deep breath as he looked over to see what was in the first aid kit.

Ellen smiled the girl Clementine seemed nice enough and she shook her head at the offer of a coke she would have something later looking up from the first aid kit to look at Clamentine when she asked about the living arrangements she shrugged.
“Just me and my baby sister, my mother died giving birth to her”
She said easily before taking out some antiseptic and emptying some into a sterile container, grabbing some gauze and a set of tweezers she picked up a sheet of gauze with the tweezers soaked it in the antiseptic then looked up at Archie.
“No doubt this will sting”
She said and before he could object she wiped the gauze over the wound it instantly began to froth white she let it froth for a moment sitting back on her knees, as the antiseptic worked its way into the wound cleaning it.

Clementine’s eyes fell at the mention of Ellen’s mother dying. “I’m sorry to hear that.” she said quite honestly. Hers and Archie’s parents had split up at a young age and even though it wasn’t exactly the same thing, she could see where Ellen was coming from here. It was hard loosing a parent either way. “But your seventeen?” she guessed. “Who supports ya here? You couldn’t take care of this place on your own.”
She watched as Ellen took some gauge and wiped it through the wound. He cried out though gritted teeth, his knuckles turning white as he gripped the sides of the seat he was sitting on. “Just a bit.” he said with a shuddering breath. He leaned his head back against the wall behind him and squeezed his eyes shut. “Is it bad?”
“Yeah, it’s about to fall off.”
“Haha. Funny joke.” Archie opened his eyes and turned his head towards her, crinkling his nose. She mimicked his facial expression, and crossing her eyes. He was such a baby.

Ellen smiled at the girl it was a fair comment and a fair question as well she nodded.
“We are better off without her to tell you the truth and this place supports us, everyone helps out when I’m out welcoming people like yourselves but I do most of the work, and the people around town are always helpful.”
She said to the women before applying some more of the antiseptic it still fizzed but barely so she gently cleaned the area around the wound. Then cutting off a strip of sticky covering called fixamole she covered the wound, packing the things away and standing up.
“There ya go all done, now you can wash straight over that and it cleans the wound as well once its healed the cover will come of on its own if you try to take it off before then it will rip your skin.”
She said with a grin the decided to pour herself a coke while she waited for Marshall to return with everyone.

Clementines mind buzzed with questions. She knew that in different countries, the laws and customs where always different. Like in Australia, you where legally classed as adult when you turned eighteen. In America, it was 21. She wasn't sure how things worked here, but she was sure there would be lots of time to figure it all out. Maybe they made their own laws here.
"Thank you" Archie said, giving Ellen a smile. It was still painfull but obviously it wasn't deep enough to need any stitches or anything. It would heal fine.
Clementine sat, enjoying the feel of the warm air. Her clothes had just about dried now, to her surprise. And it felt unseasonably warm. Maybe they where close to the Equator?
"So," she said taking a sip of the coke and putting the glass on her lap. "What's that Southern guys story?" she tried to make sure the question sounded as casual as she could.
She saw her brother roll his eyes out of the corber of her vision and ignored him.

Ellen smiled she had been wondering when this would come up and by the way her brother rolled his eyes he had too, in her eyes there was nothing wrong with curiosity.
“He never really talks about what he did before coming here and he had a hard time settling in but he’s a good enough guy bit of a hoarder and he believes that if you want something you have to give something in return but I got no problems with him.”
She said with a shrug taking another sip of the coke, no one really knew allot about Marshall he was all in all a mystery. Satoria snorted and walked off these people were boring and she was hungry, walking back to the pastures she lowered her cranium and began to graze.

Clementine nodded. She wasn’t sure what she expected to hear but she did hope there’d be a little more to him.
“Well I don’t like him.” Archie spoke in.
“Yeah, I kind of got dat vibe off ya.” Clementine said dryly.
“You can talk to me a little nicer too, by the way. From the looks of things we where lucky enough we found this place.”
Clementine didn’t answer him. But shuddered instead. She knew that they hadn’t found this Island. The Island...no something found them. That girl on a horse that drifted across the water.
“Our boat exploded on the water.” She said, taking another sip and frowning when she thought of Steve. “When we where out there in the water there was this...Please don’t think I’m crazy...But there was this ‘ghost’ on the water. A little girl on a white horse. She led us to the shore. This place, it isn’t normal is it?”
Archie looked at his sister for a moment, and then at Ellen, interested in what her reply might be.

Sitting down in another of the chairs she looked out watching as Satoria moved off to graze she would have to get her bum into gear and feed them soon she thought as she collected her thoughts.
“Well your wrong there Archie it was no accident you found this place, the island lead you here, as for the girl on the horse that’s the islands way of leading people here. It’s a manifestation of its power more then a ghost.”
She answered casually, she had a feeling she knew what the reaction would be especially considering the fact that she was so laid back about all this but what were you going to do about there was no good time for the whole your on a magical island thing. As she watched Satoria waiting for what their reply she noticed Satoria perk her ears and trott down the drive way happily. Looking up she saw Marshall coming up the drive carrying Alison with Abby and Davin following along behind.
Abby looked around the place it wasn’t what she was used to, being tall buildings where crime is thick in the air but it was nice enough she thought though as much as she wanted answers she wanted sleep more but that might be about to change though she didn’t know that.

“The Island lead us here?” Archie frowned. “So ya saying that this Island is a living being? Seems a bit far-fetched to me.”
Clementine rolled her eyes. He never did have an open mind. “So this place has some sort of power? How do the other inhabitants feel about it?” As she said it she wandered if there where even that many people here at all. “Why doesn’t anyone leave?”
She looked to see Marshall heading closer to the house, this time carrying an infant, and two other people following closely behind him. He was setting a quick pace as if eager to be rid of them both.

Abby walked a bit closer to Marshall she could see the house clearly now and could see Ellen and two other people sitting on the porch.
“So why are you running errands anyway, miss high and mighty to good to come get us herself?”
She asked keeping step with him her white cloak blowing out behind her as the breeze blew, stirring at the gravel driveway. A mare trotted toward them but went straight for the little girl in Marshall’s arms who woke slightly feeling the warm horse breath on her face. A little giggle escaped her lips before she fell further asleep.
“Hold that question for a moment could you please”
Ellen said standing up and walking down the steps and toward the party of three plus a baby and horse and taking Alison from Marshall and patting Satoria gently.
“Thank you Marshall, I appreciate it” then turning to the other two, “I’m soo sorry I couldn’t come and get you myself I had some other new arrivals and one of them decided to get a chunk of something in his leg, please join us we have coke and sandwiches.”
She offered.

“Don’t mention it.”
Marshall was more than happy to have the baby out of his arms by the time they reached the house. He looked up and noticed the other two where still there. He wondered what they where going to do about that.
He gave the horse a quick pat on the neck before he continued to walk up the stairs and made himself a spot on one of the seats near the small table which had the sandwiches and coke on it. Clementine offered him a glass which he took with a nod of thanks, and the two of them looked back to see whether or not the others where going to be far behind.

as Davin and the outers walked up to the ranch as he did there were people siting outside on the porch their was the girl from before siting the there Ellen that would explain why this guy had the kid in his arms
Davin tripped in the failing light he hoped no one saw it but he thought he caught a glimpse of s chuckle from Abby
the walk was step up the track as Davin walked behind every one just in case he tripped again
only a littler bit more Davin thought out of breath as he climbed
they reached the porch and there in the dark was Ellen and to other people a man about 35 and a girl who Davin thought looked like thy just swam 300 miles under water and brought back every mil of water with them
the guy had dreadlocks and looked in pain and the girl was a little shorter then Abby
so you guys got dragged here to Davin asked looking at the two

Clementine smiled to herself as she watched the newer guys trip over himself, straightening up very quickly trying to regain composure before he approached them, looking at each before he spoke.
“What gave it away?” Clementine asked with a friendly smile at the young guy. She offered him a seat. She noticed his attention directed to Archie now, who was still sitting rather uncomfortably on the seat. He still looked a little pale, but not as white as before. The half a sandwich he held in his hand seemed to be helping.
“I’m Archie. This is my little sister Clementine.” he paused, looking a little begrudgingly up at the Southern guy. “He’s Marshall.”
“Howdy.” The 27 year old said with a half hearted wave. He seemed far more interested in seeing what Ellen was going to do with the other one.

As Ellen walked back up to the house with the others holding Alison she caught sight of Davin trip and Abby smirk at him but she just kept walking it was getting dark and she hadn’t turned any lights on. Walking up the stairs she poked her head in the door and flicked the switch for the outside lights. They flicked for a moment before coming on strong and lighting up the area, there were plenty of chairs for everyone the others were just stacked up around the corner and she went to get them. Juggling the chairs and the sleeping child she brought them around and Abby seeing her struggle come to help. Together they un-stacked the chairs and Ellen sat down with Alison sleeping on her lap.
“Ok now that we are all here, this is Davin, Abby, Clementine, Archie and of course Marshall. Now as I was just telling Archie and Clementine none of you found this place through luck, this island is different, it’s right off the West Australian coast yet no one has ever charted it. This is because its cloaked the island has powers, is the best way to put it I guess, and it chooses who comes here, and in answer to your earlier question Clementine, there is no way off the island.”
Ellen said and stopped waiting she figured from the way Abby was sitting there looking at her like she was insane this was going to take time even if everyone was exhausted.
