Xx.. Attitude ..xX Laid back, but quite shy around people he’s just met. He is a total sweetheart, into old fashioned romance, and greek poetry. Adam is the sort of person who will make very quick decisions with good intentions but that are often rash. He doesn’t really have allot to say and describes himself as shy, lovable and playful, his favorite musical performer sums up the mix of his unique personality: John Lennon.
He can often be quick to panic, and also suffers from Athsma. But has been very embarrassed by it since he was young and so he hides his inhalers.
Since arriving at Seraph Island he appears to be both integral and counterproductive to the ins and outs of everyday life. He is a very pure and honest guy with a big heart. He is the sort of person who’ll always put others in front of himself.
Adam has seen Seraph Island as a personal turning point, where his commitment to honesty in himself and as a performer has opened more doors for him than ever before. “My motto is truth, integrity and honour,” he states. “It’s working out well.”

Xx.. Dislikes ..xX Heights, people who seem too loud, and popcorn.

Xx.. Strengths ..xX A big heart,
Xx.. Weaknesses ..xX Often a little too trusting, not very assertive, and kind of shy.
Xx.. History ..xX At 25 years of age, the easily confident, but sometimes shy Adam Hume grew up in the small country town of Gawler, near the Barossa Valley in South Australia with his mother. While his dad lived and worked two jobs in Sydney as a carpenter, and also in “entertainment industry”. His uncle owned a car yard so he grew up around allot of old cars, and was often aloud to wreck them, and so by the time he was 16 he was driving them around in rallys. Back at Gawler he was described as someone who has “flipped and crashed more cars than evil knievel.”
As a child Adam spent a lot of his childhood in his own head, a self-described loner with a big imagination who had trouble focusing at school; “Music was all I ever wanted to do.” he said. When he turned 18, he flew over to live with his father, and it was then that he really started to get into playing music. Often being found on the streets singing and playing his guitar, he soon became somewhat of a ‘star’ around his area. As well as being very good on vocals and guitar, he can also play piano, mouth organ and percussion.
Although he did work with his father in carpenting, he never really learnt any other ‘real trade’, and more focused on his musical career busking on the streets.

Adam was sent to the Island about six months ago after falling off of a ladder on the job. He says that the transition was very difficult at first, especially since just before going to work, he had argued bitterly with his father over “something very stupid.” and regrets it terribly. Another very difficult thing for him was when he couldn’t find his guitar or other belongings. And it was not till he actually found a place to live on the Island that he found them sitting in the kitchen of his new flat. He took this as a sign that he was ‘meant to be there’ and has accepted his new fate.
